Legal framework and published works
Articles 173 and 174 of the Mexican Federal Copyright Law regulate exclusive rights reservations for periodicals. Articles 5, 11, 13 and 15 protect qualifying original works, including those published in journals. Articles 18 and 21 address authors’ moral rights.
The scientific articles published in the September 2026 issue form part of the journal’s scientific and editorial collection and constitute academic works protected under applicable Mexican copyright law, in accordance with the rights of their respective authors and rights holders.
Legal responsibilities and institutional position
International Journal of Scientific, Technological, and Innovation Research (IJSTIR-ESNE) reaffirms the protection of its editorial rights and the copyright applicable to its published scientific works under Mexican federal copyright law. The journal reserves the right to pursue appropriate legal remedies before the competent authorities against conduct that unlawfully infringes protected rights or harms the legitimate interests of the journal, its authors, or other rights holders. Any applicable liability or sanctions shall be determined in accordance with current legislation and legally established procedures.
