Editorial independence
Expertise, accountability and a clearly identified editorial office.
Editorial and scientific boards
The journal should publish confirmed names, roles, expertise, institutional affiliations, countries and academic profiles with consent. No personal names or affiliations were supplied for this independent journal. The new website intentionally does not repurpose the previous site’s institutional personnel.
Role separation
The editor-in-chief supervises policy and reasoned decisions; associate editors coordinate specialist assessment; production staff maintain proofs and metadata. External reviewers advise on scholarly merit. Reviewers do not acquire authorship or ownership of manuscripts by reviewing them.
Governance
Ownership, publisher identity, editorial-office contact and appointment procedures must be documented. Financial supporters must not control decisions on individual manuscripts. Board membership requires consent and periodic confirmation; international representation should be supported by actual affiliations, not by a label alone.
